Since graduating from Marquette University’s school of business in 1983, Steve Condit has spent most of his career working with custom manufacturers and distributors to accelerate their top-line revenue. He has had a unique and successful background in both sales management and marketing. In sales management, he has been responsible for leading the sales efforts of smaller $3-million-dollar companies to larger $150-million-dollar divisions of Fortune 500 companies. He has been recognized, rewarded and promoted for generating impressive business results throughout his career. In marketing, his experience began with print directories but now focuses on digital marketing channels such as websites, search engine marketing, blogs, email and social media. Through the use of sophisticated sales and marketing automation software, Steve studies the analytics to determine what tactics work best in driving his clients’ sales revenue.
Steve is the president and founder of Marketing Metrics Corp., a full-service industrial digital marketing firm. Clients include some of the fastest-growing custom manufacturers and distributors in Southeastern Wisconsin. They look to Steve to help them with the efficient and effective execution of their sales and marketing strategies to substantially increase sales and profits.
Steve has been happily married to Anita for 28 years, is the proud father of three amazing children and resides in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
For the past 15 years Tammy Sawyer has helped industrial and manufacturing clients reach their business goals through analytical and creative marketing.
An online marketing specialist, Tammy assists clients with website development, content management, optimization, tracking and multi-media marketing. She leads cross-functional teams of sales, technology and creative professionals to develop ongoing, measurable solutions to drive sales revenue.
Tammy offers a unique combination of strategic consultation experience, creative talents (photography, composition, graphical design) and analytical/financial skills. She has expertise in business planning, competitive analysis, branding and market positioning – as well as the tactics to support those efforts, such as e-mail campaigns, sales tools, direct mail marketing, advertising and event/tradeshow organization.
As an adept communicator, Tammy has established and sustained longstanding client relationships while effectively balancing their bottom-line business needs.
Her clients will attest she is one of the few people you’ll meet who knows her way around an Industrial facility carrying a hot pink briefcase that holds her own safety glasses.
Dan has over 16 years of experience in IT and marketing. He began his career at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, earning a BA in Management Information Systems, while working as Network Support Administrator and maintaining several websites for the Lubar School of Business.
Prior to joining Marketing Metrics Corporation, Dan worked in marketing and advertising for a wide range of clients, but he has always focused on the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Most of his tenure was spent developing websites and maintaining search engine marketing programs which improved client visibility on the major search engines. Dan has worked with a variety of companies, ranging in sizes from smaller five-person machine shops to large OEMs such as Briggs & Stratton.
Dan is an avid runner and enjoys fly fishing, golf and backpacking.
Steven entered the world of digital marketing after earning his bachelor's degree in English Literature and master's degree in Library and Information Science. After developing his skills in B2B, B2C and ecommerce SEO, Steven sought to deepen his skill set and extend his experience to other digital marketing channels.
Steven grew up in Spamtown, USA (aka Austin, MN) where the presence of Hormel Foods instilled him with a love for ham and creative business solutions in both print and digital environments.
In his free time, Steven enjoys writing, playing board games, leading a Dungeons & Dragons expedition, and spending time with his spouse and two dogs.
Anita is known for her experience, enthusiasm and knowledge of the promotional products industry. As a branded merchandise specialist, Anita assists clients with sourcing and procurement of appropriate, cost-effective products for each project or event – from trade show displays, event give-a-ways and signage, to team apparel and customer appreciation gifts.
Anita grew up near Chicago, attended high school in Brussels, Belgium and began her college career at Marquette University. Anita completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Louis University, and went on to earn her Masters from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in Industrial Relations and Human Resources.
Married to her husband Steve for 28 years (see above), they have raised three wonderful children. When not working, Anita enjoys traveling, reading, good wine and good cheese.
Before raising a family, Becky began her career working in the industrial and manufacturing sector in the late 1980s and 1990s. She served as a buyer and purchasing manager at a die casting firm, where she gained valuable experience that helps her assist manufacturing clients today.
Becky joined Marketing Metrics in 2013 working with the sales team to create client reports as well as managing all office administrative duties. Her responsibilities quickly grew to leading social media efforts for our clients. Today she posts social media notices at least bi-weekly for more than 80% of MMC clients. She has received advanced training and earned certificates both from Hubspot and Hootsuite in Social Media.
Offline, Becky enjoys family time with her husband, four children and two grandchildren! She also enjoys spending active time outdoors and quality time with her cats.
As Web Developer and IT Specialist, Shaun works behind the scenes to program websites, manage ecommerce functions, integrate applications and manage databases for clients. He works with clients and the MMC team to develop websites that improve and enhance ecommerce solutions.
Shaun has more than 18 years of IT experience, including IT security, web development and networking solutions. He has worked with such companies as Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, WageWorks and others.
Since he was a young lad, Shaun has worked on computers and has always had a passion for technology. He has a strong will to continue to learn programming, which complements his long-time interests in computer security and web development, as well as server administration.
Rita joined Marketing Metrics Corp. in April 2015 as an intern. After graduating from UW-Milwaukee with her BS in Information Science and Technology and minor in Art and Design, she joined the team full time as a web developer and designer.
As both a developer and designer, she enjoys working with graphic and interface design, and the mechanics of the code behind them. In addition to marketing, she’s currently involved with the new Milwaukee collaborative event, DesignMil, which connects designers with local nonprofits in need.
Away from her computer, Rita loves flea markets, crafting, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her dog, Penny. She is an avid Golden Girls fan.
John graduated with a BA degree from UW-Whitewater in 2013. While in college, John was an active member of the American Marketing Association, where he was known by peers and advisors for going above and beyond his responsibilities. He also took on two leadership roles in Mountain Dew crowdsourcing-type promotions.
John grew up in Waukesha, WI and has more than 10 years of industrial experience working in various positions at his family’s heat treating company.
As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Marketing Metrics Corp., John is certified in Google Analytics, AdWords, Shopping, Display, Mobile and Search. His responsibilities include Google and Bing ads/analytics, reaching/creating prospect lists and email campaigns.
John is an active weight lifter, loves anything outdoors and appreciates a good beer.
Kahlua joined the MMC team in May 2015. He’s a teddy bear by breed but also by personality. Kahlua loves to cuddle, play catch in the conference room, go for walks or have his tummy rubbed. He’s the instant stress reliever in the office, always finding a way to take the edge off. If you have an open lap, he’s happy to curl up and help you work while sitting at your desk.
In his off hours, he’s quite the ladies’ man at the dog parks and loves going for car rides.
